These Fittings also know as panel mount fittings can be used in a 1/4" NPT hole. The thread is the same as 1/4" NPT but without the taper. These are also perfect for reservoirs and other items in which a a tapered thread may cause unwanted stress on the threaded hole and promote stress fractures. They are black nylon and equipped with an o-ring seal.
