If you love to travel, a few of the most important things to bring are your skincare essentials. Travelling can expose your skin to extreme weather conditions, humidity, dust, pollution, and stress. While traveling is worth the Gram, it can also be difficult for your skin especially if you need to adjust to new environments. This is why it is important to have a checklist that you need for your skincare essentials.

Oil-based and water-based cleanser

If you love wearing makeup during travels, it is important to end the day with an oil-based cleanser first, followed by a water-based cleanser. Oil-based cleansers can remove any excess makeup, dirt, and accumulated sebum in your skin. This way, you can cleanse your skin thoroughly at night. After using an oil-based cleanser, use the water-based so you can finish cleaning your skin of any remaining oils. Using this two-step cleaning can prevent you from developing whiteheads, acne, and dirt build-up.

Low PH Toner

After washing your face with water, it is good to balance your skin’s PH by using a toner. Choose a toner that does not strip off your skin’s natural moisture. Toner prepares the skin to absorb the nutrients that you will be putting on it.

Serums

Serums are loaded with all the nutrients that nourish your skin, which is especially important when you’re traveling. Pack your favorite Korean serums in travel-sized containers and apply as needed. These products are also suitable for all kinds of weather, making them a permanent fixture in your skincare routine.

Eye Cream

The skin under your eyes is the thinnest part of your face. This makes them especially vulnerable to damage and premature signs of aging. Add eye cream to your travel pack to always have a barrier that protects the skin around your eyes and gives it some much-needed hydration. Apply eye cream at night and during the day as well.

Sunscreen

Applying sunscreen is a must when you are traveling. If you’ve ever seen Korean tourists, you’ll notice that they are geared from head to toe with hats and clothes that cover their skin from the sun. But what you might not see is they also apply sunscreen regularly to protect their skin from sun damage. Sunscreen is important to them, which is why they have mastered the formulation of the product for effective use. Take a Korean sunscreen with you when you travel, to keep your skin protected from the sun at all times.

Packing during traveling can be overwhelming for some. However, if you know what is essential for you, you can get rid of any uncertainties. Travelling can also be a problem if you have large bottles or containers. If your travel has certain protocols such as bringing only a ziplock-sized bag of skincare essentials, you can transfer your skincare products to tiny bottles. This way, you can make sure no product is wasted and that you will not end up leaving your costly skincare essentials in the airport. Once you’re done with this, your skin is good to go!
